I am an animation film maker and I am always out hunting for new stories and new ways to tell them and one of the very cost efficient mediums was blogging. Although this is a great way of telling stories what it lacked was a certain sense of intimacy and as a storyteller I wanted to have more control over the storytelling aspect. This was the point where I turned to podcasts. Listening to them was engaging as well as it didn’t hinder my work. As I was looking for some topics to talk about, me and my friend decided to take on the world leaders and influential individuals and how they changed the world for good or bad. A book is always judged by the cover, it’s the moment you see the cover you decide if you want to pick the book from the shelf or not.

It’s no different with a podcast, podcast album covers are the first and probably the only visual connection that a podcast has to its listeners. And you have to make sure that it is as close to perfect as it can get for the people to notice you and start listening to you. It’s the hook you need to reel in your potential listeners.
