My First decentralized Podcast

I am an animation film maker and I am always out hunting for new stories and new ways to tell them and one of the very cost efficient mediums was blogging. Although this is a great way of telling stories what it lacked was a certain sense of intimacy and as a storyteller I wanted to have more control over the storytelling aspect. The punch lines, dramatic pauses, and the reveals.

This was the point where I turned to podcasts. Listening to them was engaging as well as it didn’t hinder my work. As I was looking for some topics to talk about, me and my friend decided to take on the world leaders and influential individuals and how they changed the world for good or bad. The podcast is called SUPES — that changed the world. Our first episode talks about the Supe — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

As i was looking for ways to make podcasts I stumbled upon this platform that claims to be ridiculously simple called Aureal Inc.

When I installed the app I was given an option of connecting to hive this is where I explored the decentralized communities and platforms.

I would say it is a pretty seamless platform and It did solve a lot of things as I could record my podcast on the phone in my bedroom. I could edit the podcast but it’s not really up to the mark yet. I am glad we didn’t goof up much so there was not much editing required. But I did add an intro and outro music to it and published it.

There are still some improvements that are needed in the app, but i love the whole idea of decentralizing content creation.

I would love for you guys to check it out. Please show mercy as this was our first attempt. Will make better and better content . The link is down below.
